I am "crazier" then Elon Musk

I am ZenTechie

Here’s how we can build the (Star Trek's) transporter today ZenTechie> 2004-02-24 22:06

if we have the technology.

1.Human being is basically a carbon base unit, that can disassemble the molecules and stored the structure or the location of each molecule in a supercomputer.

2. Then we send the human structure or location of each molecule file and re-assemble using carbon, H2O, etc, the made-up molecules of a human being on a destination location.

Now you have a transporter. Is anybody interested in working on this as an entrepreneur project? I remembered a thread was created to ask for suggestion on projects.

Why would you do this? JCro > 2004-02-24 22:18
It a being's entire genetic code is contained in their DNA (which we can document) and we can create all the combinations of DNA (all 4 letters...whether or not we have a full understanding of what it is exactly that they do). Would it not be wiser to maintain a database of several "healthy" subject's DNA and just upload our selectons to the DNA emulating system?

(See, my idea doesn't sound like the movie "The Fly")

Well, your suggestion would required to grow ZenTechie > 2004-02-24 22:29
the subject using DNA, which takes time. As opposed to my suggestion where you assemble the molecules to made a life form, a replica, or a copy if you will, as in Star Trek.

now you know how I know that patent ZenTechie > 2015-02-16 19:06
would be the building block of the Star Trek's transportor.

Star Trek style human transport will change work BVM > 2004-02-24 20:57
"shore" become irrelevant.

When and if that happens, it will ... trebor > 2004-02-24 21:54
...revolutionize transport more than anything before it. Even if it doesn't work on life forms. Unless they scramble to catch the wave, UPS and DHL will be instantly obsolete.

On the other hand, such control over matter and energy may be centuries away.

If you're interested in thoughtful though fanciful futuristic stuff, poke herearound.
