Melinda Gates wondered why more women

women going into the field to become a Lawyer or Doctor, but not the STEM field.  And she was surprised it is in the teen percentage tile, while when she was a CS major, it was at 37% women.

Because being a lawyer or doctor were the most popular TV shows while they were growing up, ie ER, Judge Judy, Law and Order, etc.  

So many people were interested in the STEM field was b/c of Sc-Fi on TV shows such as Star Trek, and movies such as Star War.
