John Doerr Testifies in Pao vs. Kleiner Perkins: Day Two Liveblog

[Doerr writes in the email, “Gosh, I wouldn’t want to be part of the all-negative firm you are describing.”  ]  Pao already knew why the firm wasn't doing well that resulted in the low return.

[On the stand, he explains, with a lot of sadness in his voice, “Because I saw Ellen’s performance and potential differently than all my other partners.]  This most likely the result of defamation (emails) by coworkers such as Chien,  Ajit Nazre, etc to incite resentments toward Pao, as the people from Asia had done the same to me as soon as I arrived in the Silicon Valley, also threatened me with physical harms that I had to abscond from the Silicon Valley as the result, in addition to a failed attempt beheading(pic) on me in 2013. I had never met any of these people in my life.  This is the resulted of discrimination toward women by people from Asia where women are a 2nd class citizen, particularly women who are highly educated and excelled in the job over these people from Asia.  Additionally, as often the only woman engineer in the whole dept, I had to endure sexual harassment on a daily bases from all levels, especially those from Asia who absolutely have no respect for America laws.    Here is my story and EEOC case:http://eeoccase.blogspot.com/

Kleniner Perkins partners all disliked Pao except Doerr.  Why??  Even Hilter is loved by many, unless the Partners are all sexist that can not tolerate women overachievers.  All they need is an excuse to oust Pao, which Chien provided by defaming Pao in his emails.  Yet these same Partners did not have any problem with someone as overbearing as Chien, a male.

Google Ventures using such pretext not to hire Pao probably b/c Doerr didn't want to let Pao go as indicated in his emails, a talent with great potential.

[“She didn’t develop domain expertise,] Pao had an electrical engineering degree, a JD and an MBA.  These are highly intellectually chanlleging and disparate disciplines, and are from Princton and Harvard.  Pao pushed to do more, but being limited by Kleiner Perkins, while the male peers such as Chien, Won etc were given more responsibilities.

Pao asked to write speeches, Presentations, etc, but not Wen Hsieh(male) when both were at the same job???  And when Wen couldn't do something, it didn't hold against him, but any little disagreement would seen as a shortcoming for Pao, a woman.

RPX board role, Pao advocated to invest in RPX, while Randy Komisar didn't but was put on RPX board, why this make any sense if you expected RPX to excel?

Komisar needed a "win", meaning he was NOT effective as a VC, yet he wasn't fired.  While Pao had a ''win' from RPX, but the credit was given to Komisar so he could keep his job and high pay.

[ To learn about it, you have to do it. For a variety of reasons, it’s too hard for women to be successful tech entrepreneurs.]  Women are rarely given the chance.  And when women did excel in the job, such women are targeted and ousted as evidenced by this case, and mine(Mona)

Pao as a thought leader:  RPX is a case in point.  Thought leaders often seen as not a team player, ie Steve Jobs.  Women version of Steve Job?  Pao is a throught leader, but it takes a thought leader to know a throught leader.

When I was working in the Silicon Valley Startups, some of these founders/VC/top level management were talking about having a killer instinct to succeed, while most women don’t. Well, ISIS/Islamic extremists/suicide bomber have all the killer instincts, are they succeeding?

[Question about what changed with Pao in the 2010-2011 era. I don’t think Doerr really says anything new, he says that Schlein and Murphy were more involved with her then.]  So under Doerr, Pao excelled.  But not after Schlein and Murphy that set Pao up for termination from the get-go.  I wonder how many of these Partners had sexual interest in a young good looking woman?    Like my case.  Hence why so few women in VC and Tech/STEM field.

If Pao's case fail, I am next in line, which I will take it to the Supreme Court.  Hopefully before they have a chance to murder me(see pic).  If I failed, another woman will take over, and so on, until women get our Equal Rights and NOT treated as a 2nd class citizen in the Silicon Valley/Tech industry/STEM field/America/the World.
