Ellen Pao is a trifecta, highly educated
Google Ventures using such pretext not to hire Pao probably b/c Doerr didn't want to let
[“She didn’t develop domain expertise,] Pao had an electrical engineering degree, a JD and an MBA. These are highly
RPX board role, Pao advocated to invest in RPX, while Randy Komisar didn't but was put on RPX board, why this make any sense if you expected RPX to excel?
Komisar needed a "win", meaning he was NOT effective as a VC, yet he wasn't fired. While Pao had a ''win' from RPX, but the credit was given to Komisar so he could keep his job and high pay.
[ To learn about it, you have to do it. For a variety of reasons, it’s too hard for women to be successful tech entrepreneurs.] Women are rarely given the chance. And when women did excel in the job, such women are targeted and ousted as evidenced by this case, and mine( Mona)
Pao as a thought leader: RPX is a case in point. Thought leaders often seen as not a team player, ie Steve Jobs. Women version of Steve Job? Pao is a throught leader, but it takes a thought leader to know a throught leader.
When I was working in the Silicon Valley Startups, some of these founders/VC/top level management were talking about having a killer instinct to succeed, while most women don’t have. Well, if the Tech industry wants killer instinct, hired ISIS/Islamic extremists/suicide bombers.Unfortunetely , I was the one - a woman they are attempted to behead( see pic).
[Question about what changed with Pao in the 2010-2011 era. I don’t think Doerr really says anything new, he says that Schlein and Murphy were more involved with herthen .] So under Doerr, Pao excelled. But not after Schlein and Murphy that set Pao up for termination from the get-go. I wonder how many of these Partners had sexual interest in a young good looking woman? Like my case. Hence why so few women in VC and Tech/STEM field.
If Pao's casefail , I am next in line, which I will take it to the Supreme Court. Hopefully before they have a chance to murder me( see pic). If I failed, another woman will take over, and so on, until women get our Equal Rights and NOT treated as a 2nd class citizen in the Silicon Valley/Tech industry/STEM field/America/the World.

If Pao's case
“Did you tell Mr. Hirschfeld that ‘women were at a disadvantage because of the sheer number of men in venture capital’? Yeah, we/women are so out number , that's why I devoted the rest of my life to put more women in Tech . They also want me to know this is a man's world, which the male engineers often saying to each other, regardless how outstanding my accomplishments were in Emulation, and now in the Patent and Trademark Office.
"Ellen Pao was hit by a taxi cab" remind me of the failed attempt beheading (see pic) on me.
"thought of as a surrogate daughter" to John Doerr, also being a woman who excelled in the job over males; which makes Ellen Pao a target for anyone who wants to get ahead. Additionally, when a woman refused to have an affair, in addition to slandering by coworkers such as Chien , Ajit Nazre, etc to incite resentments toward Pao...... sets up an environment to oust Pao (same happened to me by people from Asia as soon as I arrived in the Silicon Valley in the 1990s). All Partners did, except Doerr, that led to Pao termination (This happened to me over and over again despite I was the only person could run emulation on time and within budget, and maybe the first person at succeeding). Doerr keep Pao from joining Google VC as he thought Pao is a talent he didn't want to lose, and planning on put Pao in a fund, now Peo is fired, out of discrimination by the firm.
The Firm's disappointing return that led to "refresh", whilepromoted non-productive members to partner, as long they are males, and raising stars like Ellen Pao is setup to be terminated, is a major contributing factor. If is true meritocracy based, and not confined to conventional thinking, the Firm will do well. So far, just a bunch of out of date old white male from the "Mad Men" era.
Wonder why the firm having such low return? According to Doerr,IPO is not the measure of success in VC, so they fired Pao. The root cause - males who duressing women to have an affair and sexually harassing them, disrupting the concertration of the whole firm, are still working to sexually harassed another young woman, and further disrupting the whole firm.
John Doerr did not act like a States man in court, very disappointing. I had so much respect for him. Well, just another old white male.
